Interview
I was not able to get an exact interview with my grandparents in Korea, but my father was able to tell me some of the stories that he was told by them. He told me that during the war, there was a member of the family who was on the North Korean side. There were people like him who would pretend to support the South during the day, but steal supplies and bring them to the North at night. After the war, most of these village thieves moved to North Korea. Because of their existence, many South Korean police investigated villages and often killed suspicious people. My father told me that one of my grandparent's neighbors was killed this way.
